Giles has worked on a wide range of M&A, ECM and structured finance transactions in both the UK and South Africa. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 1996 and joined Rothschild in London rising to run the Consumer Products team. Returned to South Africa in 2003 and established TEIM Ventures - a venture capital company in which the partners invest their own capital and expertise in new businesses. Joined Deutsche Bank in 2010 and completed transactions for a number of major African mining groups. Rejoined Rothschild in South Africa in 2014 as Managing Director where he has completed a large number of major cross border transactions.

JG is a data management and analytical insights specialist, having built business intelligence teams & solutions within the agricultural, automotive, financial, and healthcare sectors across Southern Africa, Europe and the US. He focuses on empowering all stakeholders across the data value chain to recognize opportunities to monetise their data assets, mitigate commercial risks, and/or highlight process inefficiencies within their businesses.
JG leverages his supply chain optimisation skills and his BI / AI experience to implement and deploy analytical solutions that enable valued discussions between stakeholders on both sides of any data exchange.
